Born in the midwest, NĒVA has been writing songs, poetry and singing since early childhood.  As a teen, she was a prolific illustrator who studied photography and fine art earning scholarships with her work.  She acted in commercials, plays and sang in a local girls groups.  She studied interactive multimedia and fine arts in Ohio, Italy and France as an undergrad while supporting herself with her web and graphic design skills.  She graduated with her Master of Arts degree in interaction design in the Netherlands and subsequently worked in Germany as a scientist of digital storytelling.

She relocated to LA pursing a career in the music industry landing a teaching role at the Musicians institute as well as a design role for Universal Music group.  She has maintained a professional, international career as a product designer for various high profile fortune 100 tech companies. ​

 

Post pandemic, she returned back to her roots in music and visual arts with a resurgence in songwriting, music production, modeling and film.​  NĒVA strives to tell powerful and captivating stories through beauty, music and movement.
